You Stay Classy San Diego

This past weekend we were in San Diego for our first Agenda tradeshow. Our main goals for the trip were to introduce ourselves to the national streetwear community and in turn pick up some of the larger brands we’ve been targeting. We were pretty successful in that so stay tuned…

We flew in Thursday night after Agenda already ended for the day. So we unpacked our bags and headed out to the Gaslamp area for some food and pants parties. The afterparty for that night was at House of Blues sponsored by Crooks & Castles. This Last Supper painting was at the bar. Nice.

Friday was all about work. After a couple unsuccessful meetings we finally hit our stride and spent the rest of the day checking out new product, placing orders and opening new accounts. All the brands we talked to were really cool and they loved the store’s buildout and direction. We’re looking forward to working with everybody and bringing nothing but the best to SHOGUN.

These guys were amazing. We watched this start from a blank canvas to what you see here. The people behind it are DethKills. They’re an artist collective based out of LA. We bought a set of prints from ‘em so look for that in store somewhere.

Later that night we went to Belo to see Kid Cudi perform at the ASR after party. We’ve only heard him on the 10 Deep mixtape and on 808’s & Heartbreak, but damn was he dope!

Aside from all the business, we got to spend a day in LA and visit all the streetwear spots out there. We also got to visit some family and friends and eat at some great places. The only one we didn’t eat at was Pink’s. Everytime we drove by there was a monster line. Does anybody know if the hotdogs are even worth it? Oh well, next time…

All in all, we had an awesome trip. Special shout out to Jon Kim from Agenda, Supra and all the guys from 10 Deep for their support. Can’t wait til the next trip. So from all of us at SHOGUN, this is Ron Burgundy? You stay classy San Diego.

Good Morning
