Last week, while browsing on the internet I came across a couple of news articles that talks about sneaker collectors or “sneakerheads.” I consider myself as a “sneakerhead”…I still remember my first pair of Jordan’s…it was the Jordan IV white/cement. My aunt had gotten me a pair and I was hooked. Ever since then my good friend San and I have been avid shoe fanatics, I remember we used to swap shoes every other day because we couldn’t afford to have multiple pairs. When ever I come across different articles that talks about this sneaker culture I am always intrigued on how different people from different parts of the world all share the same passion in such a simple product.
