Pre-Fight party recap
A couple of weeks ago we had a little in-store event in honor a true Shogun: Manny Pacquiao! For the event we dropped a special edition tee that was sold out in a matter of days! We had to come up with a special colorway for the day of the event, we still have a few small sizes left. Be sure to check the webstore for your size!

Pac Attack!
As you may already know, we here at the Shogun camp are HUGE Pacquiao fans! So huge, we even designed a tee dedicated to the man! We were lucky enough to get to attend both Pacquiao and Clottey workouts earlier this week. Special shout outs to DJ Danny West for the hookup!
On another note, our Pac-Man tees are almost all gone! Good news is that we will be getting a small restock of tees this Saturday for the Pre-Fight Party. This time it will be in a limited blue colorway. So if you didn’t have a chance to scoop up your Pac-Man tee…this will be your chance!

Pacquiao vs Clottey Pre-Party
In anticipation of the Manny Pacquiao vs Joshua Clottey fight that is set to go down on March 13, 2010 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX! We will be hosting a Pre-Fight party here at SHOGUN. Pound 4 Pound Champ
After having such a good response to our All-Star tee, it was a given that we had to do something special for the next event at Cowboys Stadium. On Saturday, March 13, the Pound for Pound Champ, Manny Pacquiao takes on some guy I’ve never heard of, Joshua Clottey. This one is a little more personal, since we have a lot of friends, family and customers in the Filipino community.
A few ideas were tossed around like illustrations and logo variations. Since our recent release have been more along those lines, I wanted something that was a little more text-based. So from there, it was deciding what to say. Should it be one of his nicknames or something like a quote? If I wanted to keep the graphic bold, it would definitely have to be something short like a nickname.
The first one I tried was ‘National Fist,’ which is his nickname in the Philippines. For what I had in mind for the graphic though, something more recognizable was needed. I ended up going with his most common nickname, ‘Pac Man’. I also felt it was necessary to pay homage to the Filipino community by adding the “sun” on the sleeve.
The letters to his name are drawn in the shape of a boxing glove. To be more specific, it’s a Cleto Reyes glove that Pacquiao uses to fight. Hard punchers prefer these gloves, because they’re stuffed with horse hair, without much padding to them.
The Pacquiao tee will be available this coming Friday, March 5th. Be on the look out for our online store coming soon also!

Manny Paccquiao’s fighting tonight! We sold out of the first shipment of UNDRCRWN’s Hand Skills tee in a matter of 3 days. We got another shipment in last night, this time it also comes in red. Come through to pick up your tee before the fight tonight.

Pac-Man cometh
Manny Paccquiao, a true SHOGUN of our time, is set to fight this coming Saturday November 14th, 2009 (same day as Fur Face Boy’s series 2 release.) Our friends from UNDRCRWN have come up with a special edition tee just in time for the fight. The tee pays homage to the man some believe is the greatest pound-for-pound champion.
“There are many subtle ties back to this world famous boxer- whether it be the “X’s” used as a symbol for his famous knockouts, bright red boxing gloves, or the small faces used in the lettering. Haven’t figured out the musical ties? Read the lyric printed on the tee & then listen to this (LINK).”
I know all my pinoy/pinay’s will want to cop this, and we only got a handful of these must have tees in. So be sure to roll through and get yours before they are gone! One more thing, the ink on this tee glows in the dark!
