TCU vs Utah
(4)TCU and (16)Utah are two very good teams in the Mountain West Conference division of NCAA College Football. Their rivalry might not match the magnitude of more known rivalries such as the Red River Rivalry (UT vs. OU), but the vibe is certainly on the same chart. With SHOGUN being right on the TCU campus, we are definitely feeling the hype around the campus in Fort Worth.
Last year, TCU visited Utah in a BCS elimination game only to be sent home disappointed 13-10. This year, TCU has the pleasure of hosting Utah in a vie to remain undefeated in Fort Worth this Saturday, and to make it one step closer to a Bowl game birth. TCU athletes, fans, and students have been waiting week after week for this game to surface to show Utah their vengeance, and the time has finally come!
Following the success TCU has had this season (reaching #4 in the current BCS rankings), the cast and set of ESPN College Gameday will be making its first-ever visit to the TCU campus. Also, Nike has produced specially designed uniforms for TCU to wear when they play their rivalry game against Utah this Saturday. The uniform pants feature a horned frog skin print. The helmet also feature a horned frog skin print along with two red lines that represent the blood that a horned frog squirts from its eyes when they feel they are in danger.
